These handy tools take the hard work out of achieving that professionjal looking splice. The curved, tapered wedge is pushed under the laid strand of the rope forcing it to open up and allowing you to feed the loose strand in without it "bunching" and fraying. The stainless steel wedge and nylon handle have been rounded and smoothed for better comfort.
