The Red Handflares and Orange Smoke Flares are made in Australia and are approved to AS2092-1988. This lays down rigid specifications for waterproofing, durability, safety and ease of operation and maximum visibility. If you buy cheap flares you may not live to regret it. Make sure yours are Australian Standards Approved.
The Aurora Inshore Distress Kit contains two Red Hand Flare Mk2's and two Orange Handsmoke Mk3's. They are sealed in a waterproof bag and packed in a plastic carton which has operating instructions and other information printed on the outside.
