So named, because one side of the hinge is raised to allow easier fitting of hatches, cupboard doors, live bait tank lids etc. It saves having to flush mount the lid or door, and allows you to fasten to thicker material. It is made heavy, cast 316G stainless steel and is sold sold individually.
