Seastar Quick Connect Mechanical Steering Cables
Description
The Quick Connect steering system is simple, safe, reliable, easy to install on boats up to 7.5 metres in length and all outboards to V6. This system does not require tools to connect the cable to the helm, reducing installation time up to 50%. It is suitable for steering wheels up to 400mm in diameter, offering a sharp, three turns lock to lock. The system consists of a helm unit, the correct length cable, a bezel kit and whatever engine end components you require to suit your application, all ordered seperately.
The SSC62 push in Quick Connect cables have a black 15.5mm outer cover and a stainless steel cable output end with the 7/8" nut suitable to attach to the end of your outboard tilt tube. To determine the length you require, measure the distance from the helm insert right around to where the nut will attach, then add 450mm.
